The Duke of Windsor owes his name to a love story. The then king, the King Edward VIII, traded the throne of England for the heart of Wallis Simpson, an American woman he would marry.

Its name is due to the fact that the Grande Hotel do Porto received this monarch, leaving its mark in our book of honour. However, the page where he wrote his dedication disappeared. Thus, his visit to the hotel became a story of the Grande Hotel do Porto, of those that pass from generation to generation and that are never forgotten. Find out!
